on 6 April 2002, the 5th Slovenian Film Festival awards were
presented. The award for life's work went to the director
Joze Gale, while the Vesna awards went to: Rustling
Landscapes by the director Janez Lapajne - Best Picture,
Gregor Zorc - Best Actor, Iva Krajnc - Best
Actress, (A)torsion by the director Stefan Arsenijevic -
Best short film, Karpo Godina - Special Acknowledgement,
Natasa Matjasec with the film Tiigra - Best Film or Documentary
work, Marko Nabersnik with the film Pavle - Best Student
Film, Maja Weiss with the full-length film Guardian of the
Frontier - Best Director, Ven Jemersic - Best
Cinematography for the full-length film Ljubljana, Pepi
Sekulic - Best Scenography for the full-length film
Headnoise, Marija Kobi - Best Costume Design for the
full-length film Poet's Portrait with a Double, and Sasa Losic
- Best Musical Score for the full-length film Headnoise.
