About the Festival
This year's Festival of Slovenian Film is the sixth in a row. At the beginning of July 2003, its creators presented the public with what will be new at this year's Festival. In addition to moving to Celje, the Festival was also moved from spring to autumn and has a new graphic image designed by the Reaktor agency.
The call for proposals for film work for this year's Festival of Slovenian Film, which will take place between September 24th and 27th in Celje, ended at the end of June. By the time the call for proposals ended, entries included nineteen entries in the category of full-length films and thirty-three entries in the category of short films - of which seven are animated films, nineteen films are student films from the Academy for Theatre, Radio Film and Television and seven are short documentaries.
The selection of the films was performed by Sasa Jovanovic, Director of the Festival, and Igor Palcic, Assistant Director for Film Selection.
