The Reunion

Five women, five life-stories of members of the Slovenian minority in Trieste. They revive the past, full of hard and painful moments from the World War II. The historic events are soon and often interwoven with intimate worlds of the narrators.

Katja Colja

Born in 1969, in Trieste. Graduated at the Faculty of Arts in Trieste. Until 2002, she has worked as director and screenplay writer of Slovenian programmes at the RAI regional office. At the moment she is continuing her studies in Rome, where she also took up production. She directed several short TV films and documentaries (The Lights Beyond the Border, 2002).
